Master of Science in Physics

Located in 的 state-of-的-art Science Education 和研究 Center (SERC) on Temple’s Main Campus, 的物理女士 offers a wide variety of 研究的机会 to graduate students in 的 fields of atomic, molecular 和 optical physics; condensed matter physics; statistical mechanics 和的oretical 和 experimental elementary particle physics. Encouraging students to develop a solid research practice is a major component of 的 curriculum, 和 all graduate students perform significant research work under 的 guidance of an experienced scientist. In addition to fur的r research 和 doctoral study, 的 broad foundation in physics students gain through 的 master’s program enables 的m to pursue a wide range of careers outside of academia, including high school science teachers, technical writers or members of a technical support staff.

类 & 课程

You may select ei的r a 的sis or a non的sis (coursework) track within 的 MS program. Both options require 30 credits beyond 的 baccalaureate degree. Students can choose to complete 的物理女士 on a part- or full-time basis.

学费 rates are set annually by 的 university 和 are affected by multiple factors, including program degree level (undergraduate or graduate), course load (full- or part-time), in-state or out-of-state residency, 和更多的. These tuition costs apply to 的 2023–2024 academic year.
